Introduction: CBHFA is a global tool that is used in over 125 National Societies globally by over 7 million volunteers. CBHFA is under revision to ensure technical accuracy as well as embedding critical principles of behaviour change, psychosocial support and protection, gender and inclusion across all content. The Community Health team of IFRC Geneva is in the process of revising the full package of CBHFA materials for a global audience with 9 modules currently developed and another 8 remaining to be developed or finalised. Each modules’ materials consist of:

Community Toolkit
The full suite of CBHFA materials is in the process of being reviewed globally and requires revision in content and format by a technical health consultant familiar with RCRC context and familiar with CBHFA in development and emergency settings.
Objectives: The objectives of the consultancy include one or more of the following deliverables:
Content contribution to eCBHFA Volunteer Topic Guides for Health in Emergencies and Communicable Disease Prevention modules
Content contribution to eCBHFA Facilitator Topic Guides for Health in Emergencies and Communicable Disease Prevention modules
Content contribution to eCBHFA Community Toolkit for each module
Deliverables:
The eCBHFA Volunteer Topic Guides for Health in Emergencies and Communicable Disease Prevention modules will each be individual modules. Each module will be divided into individual topic guides, with the number dependent on the module and each following the established eCBHFA format with embedding of behaviour change principles, psychosocial support principles and protection, gender and inclusion principles. The technical consultant will advise on technical content in coordination with the curriculum specialist consultant. Support includes guidance pre and post pilot. (estimated days ~ 8 days)

The eCBHFA Community Toolkit Health in Emergencies and Communicable Disease Prevention modules will each be individual modules. Each module will feature individual toolkits, with the number of tools dependent on the module and each tool providing clear guidance and support to learning. The technical consultant will advise on technical content of the tools in coordination with the curriculum specialist consultant. The toolkit will feature full A4 page visuals, games, and tools to teach content in assorted topics. This toolkit must be developed in coordination with the development of the volunteer topics and facilitator guides. Support includes guidance pre and post pilot. (estimated days ~ 8 days)
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree
At least five years of RCRC clinical experience on emergency health missions
AT least five years of experience in using CBHFA or ECV tools at community level
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in tandem with other consultants Initiative, resourcefulness, timeliness
