Job Purpose
The PMER-IM Senior officer’s overall task is to support operational monitoring, reporting and information management, particularly to ensure quality and timely delivery of the projects developed and operations coordinated by the CCST(pledge-based reports, information bulletins, operations updates); in compliance with the International Federation and donor requirements in the three countries. He/She will also ensure and support capacity development to be able to integrate into the Host National Society’s PMER structure.
Position Requirements
Education
- University degree in economic, social sciences, humanities, journalism or equivalent qualification (applied economy, statistics, etc.)
Experience
- 3+ years reporting experience
- 3+ years project monitoring experience 3+ years project planning experience
- 3+ year(s) experience with graphic design and data visualization with the ability to translate complex digital information into clear and attractive graphic representations
- 1+ year(s) experience with GIS tools and ability to produce basic maps in order to visualize geographic information
- 1+ year(s) experience with Mobile Data Collection tools (KOBO and/or ODK).
- 2- years experience in complex settings
- Acquainted with International Federation policies, procedures, system
Knowledge, Skills and Languages
- Strong computer literacy skills with moderate to advanced skills in spreadsheet tools
- Familiarity with current IFRC standards and guidelines - PREFERRED
- Work experience at international and/or national level and/or volunteer experience in the RC/RC - PREFERRED
- Strong background in data and information management and informatics - PREFERRED
- Able to represent the organisation at international level
- Excellent writing skills in Spanish and English
- Good analytical skills and solution-focused person
- Demonstrable accountability
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team
- Excellent stress management skills
- Self-supporting in computers (Windows, spread sheets, word-processing, email, etc.)
- Readiness to learn and increase knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure with flexible working hours

- Ability to take initiative to create new processes from scratch and act to fill identified gaps
- Skills in database management and data analysis

Languages
- Fluently spoken and written English and Spanish
- Good command of another IFRC official language (French) or a language relevant in the region or country of assignment (i.e., Creole) - PREFERRED
