Purpose of the Internship
Within IT Department, the main purpose for the internship is:
- Promote collaboration among local universities to create an environment where we can share best IT practices
- Following IT Department guidance collaborate on supporting and promoting the usage of IFRC ICT platforms in order to provide effective tools to IFRC Staff and work closely with them to identify needs in order to make the most of ICT resources
Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or related
- Networking, Microsoft courses and/or certification related - preferred
Experience
- Experience in Information and Communication Technology - Preferred
- Experience in cloud systems - Preferred
Knowledge, skills and languages
- Knowledge of computers hardware/software and networks.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware problems
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment
- Ability to work in an organized manner
- Proactivity
- Capacity to prioritize
Languages
- Fluently spoken and written English and Spanish
