The International Federation-Country Cluster Support Team (CCST) for Indonesia and Timor Leste is seeking an Event Consultancy and Organization for Water as Leverage workshops. The consultant, in close consultation with the RVO moderator and the Partners for Resilience (PfR) Country Team, will be responsible for the preparation, logistical organization and follow up of the workshops.

Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant, in close consultation with the RVO moderator and the PfR Country Team, will be responsible for the preparation, logistical organization and follow up of the workshops. This will include:
- Information gathering; collection of readily available information on urban resilience in relation to climate change adaption, water & coastal zone management - i.e. official policy directives, previous studies and knowledge from projects.
- Translation of WaL documents in Bahasa and relevant information in Bahasa into English.
- Identifying potential participants for the workshop (government departments, civil society organizations, beneficiaries, etc.). Ensuring PfR partners contact’s and relations Semarang are involved and invited.
- Informing selected participants on the aim of the workshop and issue invitations
- logistical organization of the workshops (location, catering, planning, invitations, hotel reservations etc.). A field visit for the participants might be an option.
- Point of contact for participating teams (from September onwards) for answering questions that come in via RVO and/or cities; requests for data/ maps/ information, and/ or provision of suggestions for site visits after (official) workshop.
- Other possible upcoming issues related to Partners for Resilience and the Water as Leverage call on request.
Requirements
- Proven experience in organizing workshops (both contents and logistics)
- Having a base in Semarang
- Being familiar with urban resilience in relation to risk reduction, climate change adaption, water & coastal zone management, etc.
- Excellent English and Bahasa
