Senior Officer, Advisory Services (HR Business Partner)

Job Purpose

Under the supervision of the Regional HR Manager, the Senior Officer, Advisory Services, provides advice and guidance on local legislation and compliance and to develops and adapts IFRC policies to the local needs. The incumbent manages employee relations and complex cases.
Moreover, the Senior Officer is the regional focal point for HR systems and HR-related service- and framework agreements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribution to the building of an effective, high-quality, HR team

Required:

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Demonstrated HR professional experience in a multicultural, n international, matrix organization (IO, NGO, corporate).
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of talent acquisition practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in HR related legal issues.
  • Excellent documentation skills for all HR related matters.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural and cross functional environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking and ability to translate it into practice.
  • Well-developed networking and relationship management abilities.
  • Excellent diplomatic, influencing skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Hungarian.
